Snowflake x Gen AI: A Cool Collab

In this highly-interactive hands-on mini-workshop (or module) you will use an LLM API to generate original text responses. After getting familiar with ChatGPT, and OpenAI Playground, you will move to Snowflake where you'll set up a function that calls the OpenAI LLM API in order to return results directly in Snowflake. Finally, learners will build a simple Streamlit in Snowflake GUI interface so that users can interact with the GenAI LLM from within Snowflake.

Prior Knowledge & Experience

No Experience with AI or ML is required. Some experience with Snowflake IS REQUIRED. If you do not have Snowflake Experience, please complete Badge 1: Data Warehousing Workshop before doing this module. A Snowflake Trial Account is strongly suggested but any account for which you have ACCOUNTADMIN rights should work. To do all labs fully you will need a credit, debit or prepaid card you can enter as well as a phone that can receive a confirmation text-- but it will not need to be charged as long as you have free trial credits remaining. The entire module uses less that 2 credits (less than $10 in most region/cloud accounts).
